Dr. Mudit Bansal

Dr. Mudit Bansal is a senior, exclusive Vitreo-Retina Specialist and proprietor, DIRECTOR of Netralok Retina Clinic, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Dr. Bansal graduated from BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad in 2001 and went on to complete his post-graduation in Ophthalmology in 2004, obtaining second rank in the university. He then underwent a 2-year Vitreo-Retina Fellowship from the Retina Foundation in Ahmedabad in 2007 and continued working as a Consultant there.
In 2008 Dr. Mudit Bansal travelled to Germany to undertake a Vitreo-Retina Fellowship at the Universitat Klinikum Regensburg. He also completed a clinical observership with Dr. C Eckardt at Hoechst, in Frankfurt.
Dr. Bansal has been an Observer at renowned eye centres such as LV Prasad Eye Hospital in Hyderabad and Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai, where he trained in the subspecialities of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) and uveitis respectively. He remained as Vitreo-Retina Consultant and headed the Retina Department at Sankara Eye Hospital in Anand, Gujarat, for three years (2008-11).
Dr. Bansal then moved to Ahmedabad and joined Netralaya - The Eye Associates, where he headed the Vitreo-Retina Department for 5 years and with a keen interest in academics initiated and managed the fellowship programmes at this centre. As an active academician, Dr. Bansal has numerous publications to his name, and regularly delivers lectures at various CMEs and conferences.
After a humble experience of many years he has now established his centre - "NETRALOK RETINA CLINIC" an exclusive vitreoretina superspeciality clinic with advanced medical and surgical retina facilities.
